I just like the fact that Mige possibly threw his copy of Witches out and now some vagabond in Finland picked it up and has no idea what they have.

I've never heard anyone ask about the EP that was never released. They said Don't Fear the Reaper was from it and that they did different versions of it.

So he said it's a four track demo?  I wish ville would have said what the tracks are.

Yeah, I'm curious as well. It would have to be fairly simple to be a four track... Drums, Vocals, Bass, & Guitar? I'm still curious what that 2nd EP was though.

I agree... So this second ep is after WAONF or 666WTL?

I think its almost safe to say dont fear the reaper is on Waonf.   I want to hear this vincent price version of it.

WAONF was considered a demo I believe. They there was going to be a 2nd EP so it would be AFTER 666WTL.

True.  I think he said dont fear the reaper and ys666 was on this 2nd EP.
What he said was a little confusing... The way I understood it was that Don't Fear the Reaper and YS666 were added to make the album long enough, but that only Don't Fear the Reaper was from the EP and YS666 was made rather quickly.

I've seen this video before... Not sure why I never caught the talk about the 2nd EP until now. If I had to guess the tracks I would say Don't Fear the Reaper (of course) and quite possibly The Beginning of the End & When Love and Death Embrace. Those seem the most likely since they've had other versions. Cyanide Sun was said to take 5 years to finish which would put it after RR, but maybe that's a possibility too... I imagine it's earlier versions would have been much harder than the one released on VD.

Only the band would know.  The phantom gate became ys666 thats all we know.  Why didnt they release this 2nd EP, this is another thing I am only going to dream of hearing.   Maybe ville will move or something and find waonf along with all sorts of old demos.

I know he's mentioned that it was something he had been working on for years, but just couldn't get it to fit on any album because it was so different. Maybe it was one of those black and white interview videos.

Interview of Cyanide Sun Mention (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/interviews/interviews/ville_valo_of_him_writing_music_is_a_cross_im_delighted_to_bear.html?no_takeover)

"I'm kind of slow. I wrote the chorus for the song Passion's Killing Floor maybe 10 years ago. It's taken this long to actually get it arranged to a song that actually has been recorded and now is released. So I do tend to write bits and pieces all the time. Some of them just take ages. Same with Cyanide Sun, the last song on the album. That took maybe 5 years to finish."

Thanks for sharing this. Cyanide Sun is probably my most favorite HIM song ever. I did not realize it had taken that long to write and was confused like 616 was about the Lapland recording/writing vacation he took.

and from what demo or EP or what is "I have crossed the ocenas of wine to find you" coming from ?
it sounds SO OLD! for me it sounds even older than "This is only the beginning" which is two demos - one from 1993 and 1995 right?
