my choice is going to : Circle Of Fear (Vinnfox Relics)
edit : 27.12.2014 , after many listenings to the bonus tracks i would change my vote from Circle of Fear demo to the Heartless Acoustic Pascha 2014 version, but i cant change it somehow, and i allowed everyone to change their vote
is it working for you guys? or its the problem again betweem my keyboard and chair?

I have gone for This Fortress Of Tears(Vinnfox Relics) I love the lyrical changes but a very honourable mention goes to the new acoustic songs they have turned out really nice.

yeah it was a tough battle between Heartless acoustic 2014 version and Circle of Fear from Finnvox relics, but i chosed Circle of fear Finnvox because i love that "dont show her you re afraid" part , how Billy sings it

I think my favourite is "Fortress of Tears (Vinnfox Relics) but I have to say that the new acoustic versions and Beyond Redemption (Vinnfox Relics) are pretty awesome too. Well, at the end of the day, they all are great because I consider them "new" so...it´s always exciting to hear new versions ;D

I voted for the The Sacrament (ACSTC Pascha MMXIV). Sometimes I just have my music of playing as background noise. It is the songs that suddenly draw my attention away from whatever I was doing even though I wasn't really listening to my music that usually capture my interest and in this case it was this one so it gets my vote even though I really like The Heartless ACSTC Pascha as well.

I voted Love You Like I Do (hollola tapes) ! I really like the simplicity in this mix. I wish they would try it live sometime!! second from last spot in a set would be nice :).

Easily the demo of Beyond Redemption. That and the Kevin Shirley Mix of Pretending are the only two songs that jumped out at me upon first listening to them. That Kevin Shirley Mix is the shit. I still gotta give it to Beyond Redemption, though.
I don't know if I'm now just officially burnt out on the band or what, but I expected to enjoy more of the songs than I actually did. I was hyped as fuck for a long time for these reissues. Even after all of the months of waiting and finally seeing the underwhelming list of bonus tracks, I still couldn't wait to hear everything. The payoff certainly didn't match my hype. Truth be told, though, I honestly can't remember the last time that happened with this band. Maybe when The Kiss Of Dawn first premiered? It's been that long. I guess I got pretty pumped up for Strange World when that came out, but my excitement over that didn't last very long.
While it's nice to have a handful of new songs that aren't live versions, I still can't help but be letdown by what we actually got after hearing everything. When you're going to release a set of remastered albums and add "never before heard" bonus tracks to each one as incentives to buy the new versions, each and every one of those bonus tracks should actually be unreleased. I don't think that's bitching just for the sake of bitching or wanting too much. You can't tell me the band doesn't know what they've released before and what they haven't. And if they don't know, well that's disappointing. They could've just looked it up on Wikipedia.
I don't think eight bonus tracks on each album was too adventurous. Rather, I think Ville is entirely too picky with what he's comfortable with releasing and what he isn't - and that's certainly his right. It's his material. He can do whatever the hell he wants with it. However, if the addition of the bonus tracks was designed as a fan service to us "diehards" to give us something to get excited about and a bring upon a whole new reason to rush out and buy yet another version of the albums again, they didn't do nearly as good of a job as they could've done. They got it halfway right.
But, hey, at least they tried and at least we got a few new cool songs. At the end of the day, anything that's never been released before is better than nothing. It's still disappointing, though, that there were songs we possibly could've had that got left off in favor of something they've already released before.

I picked "Please Don't Let it Go (Hollola Tapes)" but it's really a tie between that and the Hollola Tapes version of "Lose You Tonight". I've always been interested in the heavier studio takes from Deep Shadows.

i hate the end of the Please dont let it go Hollola version, in the end that "please dont let it" is SO REPETITIVE that its making me stick the pencil through the nose into my brain, very annoying

The song is so good but i am glad they cut that part out^
I really wanted to vote for beyond redemption but the album version is so good. The talking in the background sounds like something from the king of rock'n'roll. This song is amazing but i like fortress of tears better. I like the demo much more.
Circle of fear demo is my text ringtone and beyond redemption demo is my ringtone. The intros just fit perfectly. :)

I'm obsessing over the Hollola tapes tracks right now, especially Love You Like I Do and Lose You Tonight. DSBH was my first HIM album. I fell in love with the virtual WALL of vocals that I had never really heard anywhere before that, so it's really cool to hear those tracks in a completely different form. It was slightly unsettling at first, but now I'm addicted...

Is it just me, or has anyone else found that the demo songs (LM) are heavier than the final album versions?
Looks like Billy worked a lot on acoustics songs in 2014. I'm curious to see what will happen with his solo project.
