Title: HIM Demos
Post by: Ziggy18 on November 24, 2014, 08:55:06 PM
Not sure if anyone has seen this.   Pretty cool now that we are one the topic of demos

HIM - Demo 2002 (April 28th, 2002 at Finnvox Studios):

1. Rescue*
2. Circle Of Fear*
3. This Fortress Of Tears*
4. Beyond Redemption*
5. The Sacrament
6. Sweet Pandemonium
7. Shine* (has to be Endless Dark)
8. Through The Darkness (probably The Path)

VILLE VALO Demos 2004 (October 1st, 2004 at Finnvox Studios):

1. The Face Of Gods
2. Under The Rose
3. ? ( my guess would be Play Dead but I wish it were a completely different song)
4. Venus (could be Venus In Our Blood)
5. No More (could be Disarm me or maybe a different way of saying Killing Loneliness)
6. Drunk On Shadows
7. Have No Fear (Extended)  (the only thing I can think of is this lyric in In Venere Veritas)

HIM - Demon ?07 (January 12th, 2007 at Finnvox Studios):

1. Love In Cold Blood
2. The Kiss Of Dawn*
3. Dead Lovers? Lane
4. Bleed Well
5. Killing Floor

HIM - Pick-Up Lines From Hell, Part 1 (March 18th, 2009 at Finnvox Studios):

1. Like St. Valentine
2. Katherine Wheel
3. In Venere Veritas
4. Scared To Death
5. Acoustic Funeral
6. Shatter Me With Hope*
7. In The Arms Of Rain
8. Disarm Me With Loneliness

* - songs I will have after the re-mastered bonus tracks come out.

Does anyone have any more of these?  What these could be is up for discussion.   And Does anyone know anything about any GLSV666 demos??

I wonder if the Dark Light Demos are just ville on the guitar... they did play that snippet of under the rose with just ville.

If I remember correctly, Cory had posted something similar to this.  He had a contact or friend that knew more about the demos and whatnot.  I don't know if he actually had any, though, as I think it was too sensitive for the friend/contact to leak.

I'd love to hear anything that comes out, for sure.

I knew that the leaked Screamworks demos aren't from this Finnvox session. The only demo from this is: "Shatter Me With Hope (Sword of Democles)".

About the tracklist of "Witches and other night fears", I think that is totally fake.

The tracklist of "Witches and other night fears" is fake.

yeah there are like 2 sets of demos from Screamworks - the one done with Hiili at Finnvox called "pick-up lines from hell part 1)
and the only song we have from that is as Luis said "Shatter Me With Hope (Sword of Democles) on Heartkiller maxi single - this is done by Hiili at Finnvox. The rest as leaked on the youtube are more sounding like Matt Squire work , the original songs were also titled as Shatter me Matt or something like that if i remember correctly  ;D but i dont know if it was just titled by some fan girl or originally..

Ignore any tracklists for WAONF i don't think anyone actually knows. The list posted, Cory got from Mika Jussila the mastering engineer at Finnvox. I haven't heard anything about people having the other demos but the SW demos(not the march 2009 finnvox) maybe perlame1 has them all.

there are hundreds of demos in their archive in my opinion. every single released song has at least one demo, unmixed track and so on. there are many uncompleted  songs still in progress....some we'll here in the next album, some in the next 2-3. Ville is very careful what they release and this will never change.

I wouldn't mind an Uneasy Listening Vol 3 and 4 to include DL-TOT.   Then we might get to hear some of these but who knows.   The chances of the last 4 cds being re-mastered with bonus tracks by the end records wouldn't even be considered for a long time but it would be cool.  I think we also deserve a Love Metal Archives Vol 2.

of course there are hundreds of hours of materials and versions and stuff
but for the band its not important as its important for us, as they are putting the best versions in their opinion on album, they keep all the "craps" unreleased and who knows if they are saving versions and stuff
i would love to hear 2000 version of DSBH as it was meant to sound. As we all know the band was pushed to the corner and they had to make it "label´s" way, but at first it was pretty rocking as we know from 2000 live versions of "Beautiful" , "Please Dont Let It Go" .. etc
they should have released this version as the bonus CD for the upcoming remastered reissue of DSBH.

is there anyone with good and trustworth informations about "I have crossed the oceans of wine to find you" ? Its pretty weird song and sounds pretty OLD! I would love to know more about this - when it was recorded ,for what album it was meant or if its just some outtake or what? We know that there are few words used from Resurrection and from SWD version of Resurrection as well (all things come to an end, we dont have to pretend....) but the rest has nothing to do with Resurrection so i certainly dont consider this as a Resurrection demo. But from Villes accent and style i bet its maybe 1995 - 1996? or maybe 1997?

I checked the back of my 4 track RHIMA single and it says nothing about I've crossed oceans of wine to find you.   Wonder if it came after this SWD or if he threw that in to resurrection.   would love to know.

What's the tracklist for the Deep Shadows Demos again?   I have a version of PDLIG, CTTF, SIOW and LYLID.   The Hollola Tapes are different but we don't know the tracklist for that do we?

I think they are the promo versions.   I'm getting rusty on my HIM knowledge   So I guess these are just first mixes.. I just like the versions of PDLIG when the drum kicks in the second verse.   Salt In Our Wounds is a little bit different from the album.   The other songs don't sound much different to me.

The deep shadows demos are going to be epic as much as the 2002 demos for LM.   We already caught a glimpse at Beautiful and Again.  I guess the tracks we know about on the Hollola Tapes are:

Beautiful
Again
Lose You Tonight
Close To The Flame
Please Don't Let It Go
Love You Like I Do

I hope Please Don't Let It Go is like the rock version.

LM demos ,... i doubt anyone has them, what i know is that on uneasy listenings 616 versions are demos from LM , its already released officialy on Uneasy Listening and the rest could be released on the reissues in December

but the list that was posted here its not that what we have, but its a schedule or something like that when they worked in Finnvox on what songs

few screamworks leaked demos are on the youtube as i remember

Yeah, I have Uneasy Listening (not as uneasy as the title suggests, though :P) and I have preordered the reissued albums, I just thought there's more circulating among fans. I'll look up the SW demos on YT, thanks!

I was always wondering in case of such a big band like HIM what "percentage of the music" is done by the band and what percentage by the producer. Listening to these demoes is a great experience to me truly. My personal opinion that the classic RR vibe was already in these demo recordings and the strong pieces were kept for the final version as well. Yeah, I know probably these demoes should not be on YouTube (I don't mind though) but it helped me to fly back to the golden age of HIM. :)

Would it be safe to assume that The Path (P.S. Version) could be "Through the Darkness" from the finnvox 2002 demo? It sounds very similar to the 616 Versions/Finnvox Relic Versions. Assuming so, all we need to find is Pandemonium and Sacrament!! I wish I could hear those too :(!!

Studio Rappula/Petrax - Hollola, Fi. 2001:

Again (Hollola Tapes)
Lose You Tonight (Hollola Tapes)
Beautiful  (Hollola Tapes) ... [aka 616 Version on Uneasy Vol.2]
Please Don't Let it Go (Hollola Tapes) ... [aka Punk Rock Version]
Close to the Flame (Hollola Tapes) ... [aka Rappula Tapes (Same Location Diff. Name) on Uneasy Vol.1]
Pretending (Hollola Tapes) ... [aka TRNSFRMTN VRS, Cosmic Pope Ver., both of which are different mixes from the bed-tracks recorded here)
Love You Like I Do (Hollola Tapes)

These are all I know of officially from The Hollola Tapes. There may have been a few more demo'd there.

I am starting to think the path P.S. is through the darkness.  The keyboards sound just like in the beyond redemption demo and at the begining he does excentuate singing "I see through the darkness".   So cool if this were true.   We put together rescue and shine from the whole 616 thing but we could of had another Love Metal demo without even knowing it.

Pandemonium and sacrament are probably so amazing and different due to the fact they picked 4 demos that sounded fairly similar to the album hence not including rescue on this bundle.

I think they realized they fucked up including the dumb strongroom RR demos instead of slippery when dead.   I think that's why that popped up right around the same time as the announcement.   Either way I am glad we got the whole SWD and 3 new " finvoxx relics".

Next album or bundle there will prob be a new title for the LM demos like...
Sweet Pandemonium (616 relics) or The Sacrament (cosmic pope deliverance ver)

Just call it a demo for fuck sake.

Interesting, how can you be certain of this? I like the Biblical Sense demo, but it sounds like a terrible pc rip. It MUST exist somewhere in full audible format. and I feel like the name is false.. It sounds fan made, I dunno, I'm free to be proven wrong but that name sucks.

Also then, would the PickUp Lines from Hell demos, be the Hilli Mixed Demos from Finland??

Rendezvous With Anus was made up of the unused parts of Beyond Redemption, from the finvox demo. ( Musically, it is not much like Turbo's version of the song. ) So that explain why they may have stole the keys and reworked the Beyond Redemption demo into Rendezvouz with Anus.

As for Oceans of Wine. It is the main chorus melody all through. So I think it's just a homage.

In lieu of the discussion about WAONF, I saw them live in Syracuse (2007 project revolution), and a guy in front of me during the meet and greet/autograph session handed Mige a burned CD labeled "Witches & Other Night Fears" to get an autograph... Mige nudged Ville, showed him the CD. Neither of them signed it, but looked a bit concerned, before breaking it and throwing it in the trash. Ville told the kid not to steal music, and handed him an autographed concert flyer instead.

There's really no point of this story, but I've always taken their reactions as proof that WAONF exists.

True. I'm not very good with things like this, but I do have the tape of the entire show (as well as Placebo & MCR)... I only ever used a program called 'dazzle' and I never properly uploaded it.  It was from the first row of raised seating, so no crowd in the way, and from what I recall, the audio was amazing.

I'd be more than happy to send it to someone who could make it amazing.

I believe the setlist (not in order):

Passions Killing Floor
Wicked Game
It's All Tears
Wings of a Butterfly
Kiss of Dawn
Vampire Heart
Dead Lover's Lane

And maybe Under the Rose?

After like three or four years or some shit like that I finally found this info again. Can't verify it, obviously, so I'll just leave it here:

Witches And Other Night Fears

1. Introduction
2. The Fast
3. Jupiter The Fulminator
4. Congregation Of The Moon
5. Got Myself A Girl
6. When Prayer Fails
7. Cast The Priest Into The Fire

Mige: bass, trombone, keyboards, percussions.
Ville Hermanni Valo: 6-string bass, percussions, vocals.
Juha: drums.
Recorded in February 1995 at Slapmetal Studio by Mige’s home.
Producer: Ville Valo
Engineer: Mige

I remember being really confused about the timeline when I first saw 1995. Still am, honestly. It just doesn't seem to jive with everything that we used to know and accept as the truth about the demo and what we know about other demos of that time, as well as be in line musically with the other two demo tapes that we have in which we could hear the natural progression of the band into what became 666 Ways To Love - but it's impossible to truly judge without actually hearing anything. A young and sexy Mige playing the trombone is strange and a funny sight to imagine in my mind lol. Also, no Linde for some reason and no guitars except for bass is weird, if only for the reason that I mentioned above, but would probably be super heavy and sludgy sort of like Type O, so it might sound kind of cool, I guess, and I could see the band doing it as some sort of an experiment, but probably not so close to their first release. But, again, it doesn't exactly mesh well with the songs on the other tapes, like the demos of Stigmata, Wicked Game, and The Heartless that were recorded for the EP just a year after this demo took place, supposedly. It seems like this would come way before those other two tapes looking from the outside in. If the other two tapes were simply recorded after this one, that would make sense, but it seems like it would be a big turnaround in a short amount of time to me.

I look at it this way: out of the six songs from the two demo tapes that we do have, three of them made the EP. A fourth in Borellus you could argue that the band decided not to use or couldn't use because of copyright. That leaves The Phantom Gate and Serpent Ride. TPG you could easily say evolved into Your Sweet Six Six Six, and lyrics from Serpent Ride were used in For You. Anyone else with me? I'm just trying to get my time line straight here.

Pretty sure that this information is completely fake  8)

Cast the priest into the fire is a lyric from an early version of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs”.

I definitely wouldn't bet against it. I got it originally from someone who is a very trusted source within the community, then stumbled across the same thing on Tumblr that was posted by someone a few months ago. Could've been that they were given false information to begin with but trusted the person giving it to them, or they deliberately spread this fake shit to sort out who can be trusted within the community or just for the lulz. I know for sure someone like Miltos could confirm or deny everything. Hopefully he sees this eventually. I'm definitely skeptical about it if you couldn't already tell lol. The reason why I didn't mind deleting the text file I originally had saved of it was because I was like this whole thing sounds stupid and can't be true.

I see it all... :) I can't confirm though as it's not based on solid facts.

I have made a similar note and it is a little different:

His Infernal Majesty
"Witches And Other Night Fears"

1. Introduction
2. Fast
3. Jupiter
4. Congregation Of The Moon
5. Got Myself a Girl
6. When Prayer Fails
7. Cast The Priest Into the Fire
8. I Love Jesus Christ

Recorded in February 1994

LOL?

I'm not sure if you were only kidding, but seeing your post jogged my memory and that one looks to be more in line with what I was originally sent with the added and even more hard to believe “I Love Jesus Christ” track, and February of 1994 instead of 1995. Maybe this doesn't even need to asked and I'm just naive, but is it safe to say it's all bullshit? Was the "I Love Jesus Christ” part going too far and making it too unbelievable so it was taken out like in that Tumblr post?

This is just a case where someone read the Mika Jussila list and asked for something on it without knowing if it was available. Those demos aren't in circulation.

It depends what you call "in circulation".

A normal fan like any of us on this board having them. That's not to say that it's impossible for anyone to have them, just very unlikely. Over the years I've spoken to numerous people that are associated and have worked with the band before. Maybe others have had or will have better luck in the future, but the answer is always “I get asked that question all the time. Unfortunately, I can't share or anything” or “I don't have anything to share.” It's always the same no matter who you ask.

If you speak to a certain someone, though, you may just be able to get the bonus tracks from the box set from before they were mixed/mastered/remastered. It's not unheard material, but to me it's still cool as shit. It's like the closest thing to having the actual masters or Ville handing you the demos personally. If you already know or figure out who it is, just please don't go bugging him obsessively about it or telling him that you heard he has such and such from a guy on a message board. If you're interested, I'm sure he will accommodate you if you're polite and respectful.

Post by: 666WTLOnVinylFTW on February 14, 2019, 04:41:17 AM
Mine ain't that deep either, my friend. Hell, it isn't even below the surface, but with social media it's super easy to find the right people to talk to. And they all say that they've been asked the same question before, that question being “do you have any unreleased material that you could share?” so you don't have to feel bad or awkward about it. Who knows, you may stumble upon the right person on the right day that has some really nice things they're willing to share with you.

Just keep in mind - not everyone is a fan of the band in the same way that we all are. In fact, most people aren't. Just because someone has worked with them in some sort of capacity, either big or small, doesn't mean that Ville or whoever else just handed over to them a bunch of unreleased songs, or that they even had a desire for those such things in the first place. Even former members don't exactly see the same value in the certain things that we do, and as a result don't always have the stuff that you would just assume them to have. It's a job to these dudes, and when you really think about it, what are the chances that the band would hire a super fan to work for them? And even if they did, what are the chances that someone would risk a dream job to ask for demos or whatever the case may be. It just doesn't make sense.

I personally know of maybe one or two people but I've gotten the same answer from both....and plus I figured how many people ask them on a daily/monthly basis how annoying it must be. In my wildest dreams I'd wanna hear the demos or maybe an uncut premaster of "Live Metal" that we never got back in 2003

Looks real to me, unfortunately the titles have been made unrecognizable. According to the loudwire interview, it should be a 4-track cassette.

Did you guys see the comment on that Instagram page about Borellus? Someone was wondering if it's on Witches because it appears on both the demo tapes before and after it, and Yka liked it. The only comment on that picture that he's liked so far from what I saw. A possible hint that Borellus is on the tape, if it is indeed WAONF?

Yup lots of dishonesty in every collection group. Thats why I would rather have digital media than pay extra for CDs. They sell "promos" on collections groups for absolutely ridiculous prices and no one even questions if its official or not.

No, im sure there are a bunch of things ville has recorded over the years and just kept it archived somewhere.  He's pretty picky about what they release as a band to the point where we've gotten duplicate "unreleased tracks" (the acoustic radio tracks on GLSV666 remastered) have been released on singles and the uneasy listening CDs, albeit in crappy quality.  But unfortunately,  some people in the collection groups not only scam, but don't care to share content which sucks lol

Gas prices go up about ten cents each time that someone in the community lies about having something that they really don't. A couple of people in particular are a big part of the reason why it costs so damn much to fill up!

Top lel I even read there are Venus doom demos out there. The other stuff like dark light demos all true, people should just post all this stuff and give it a rest. Same goes for slippery when dead, I bet the community had that for years since I remember everyone had too happy to be alive back like around 2009.

The 97 version of RK is probably the same as the SWD tapes. As far as demos for VD and DL, im fairly sure no one has those, except ville. Makes no sense for everything to somehow get leaked because fans want it to. At the end of the day, they have contracts,  lawyers, and management to handle things they wouldn't want to leak. Especially if they can make money from it in the future.  Funeral of hearts wasn't written in 2000, it was the last track to be composed,  recorded, and added to love Metal in 2003. Disarm me is old, but I highly doubt there's anything to find. Again, I could be wrong

Title: Re: HIM Demos
Post by: SIRJARVIS01 on June 07, 2021, 02:56:33 PM
yeah, i could be wrong. I'm assuming the band's material wouldn't be easy to get ahold of no matter how big their fanbase is. How and why would the band want fans to have content they never intended on releasing in the first place. Demos are out there, I'm sure. I'm just not so sure so MANY of them are. If you've known people who have this content, keep on trying to see if you can convince them to share it. Hell, I would personally even pay for content if it was that rare, especially their soundboard concerts from 2005 to 2007. That's why it was such a treat for the Toronto show to finally get leaked. HIM is one of those bands who's content is a masterpiece. Best of luck trying to find these demos! Hope to hear more stuff from them in the future

Post by: Rasta666 on June 14, 2021, 10:08:29 AM
Not sure how I got brought into this? Before anyone gets excited, I don't have any of the demos this guy is claiming. I joined TheSacrament in 2007 because I found a leak to Venus Doom a few weeks before it was released (on the now defunct torrent website What.CD). I shared it with Jay and he granted me access to many of the bootlegs and demos which at the time were very secret. After that, I've brought nothing to the table, and everything in my collection came from this forum and is pretty easy to find. Sorry for mooching off all of you for years haha, but I do really appreciate it! Now, on to my next subject:

I RARELY look at this website any more - I'm 32, have two kids, and HIM are no longer a band (RIP). The only time I occasionally check in is when news pops up and I want to get the scoop (Gothica Fennica Vol. 1, Flat Earth, Heartagram Team updates, etc.). Well I've been checking in more recently because of the Heartagram Team teaser from last month and noticed Stigmata93 harassing the Sac community for demos and bootlegs that as far as I know haven't been discovered. The general attitude and method of going about this is really childish and somewhat rude, but I brushed it off because whatever - the internet has plenty of dickheads.

Fast forward to my daily Reddit cruise and I notice similar messages on r/HIM from a Stigmata92. Coincidence? Maybe. But it's pretty obvious when looking at the nature of these messages it's the same person.

(https://previews.dropbox.com/p/thumb/ABPQ5H-_zIMAyduze4-k2ueMyxIEvOB0j5XvdY78tJFch8hErPb33JaG1Zu3fFk6wEMwtAHZWNZkP5jIyp1elQMBrKp07-F6IFiq7byU16g101x-IKOJCjj68vu6PKQIn1vh0_cIA740L4ModVutNJs5I6ex3IUG6s9WU0D5odNsvT3Av7TkOpNFhIqqdC8ENDiv5180z_w-QlTATeq6lbYFuiWmUb7iAsuJfHjCztgVfkAup0HHHHcHwKNSVBb4v4WGEcQ1CfxXrF-M3Yg-LYG_f8GGlP2chL7dCZhsbGNv0VvIRWWr5mm9Cez593Up5-IJ3B6tnxe58JjabZfbz-WVwzsG144h2aI67b3voNbd5g/p.png?fv_content=true&size_mode=5)

I took the liberty of highlighting some good ol' fashioned homophobia from our friend here. Obviously this shit is really uncool and grounds for banning on most websites. As I made my way back to the Sac, I've now noticed several messages in my inbox from, you guessed it...

(https://previews.dropbox.com/p/thumb/ABNbBZDZ3JnhaHzMMAniYrWjYuybcCb7362ApFaxl8jqe81ILdOrJVCoFyinBGVIxGesoQYNfSUva1VokhT-wqaTHq1km7ppigAURo2JnoMWdLIu6nOQ0OyrPRMPtLJcFjmEp4rc6vK14yVoSomxdp_LYFnXlnAV7OheNipMtUAjlfS_jft2ViUIwhoGTXJevMNRVFufuzwLkQF-Y1B7rpg0Fy-ktkHFqVteJL8HA4RwcSLv05SAMJBIB8x3Q9212jQXrLWlSNUWtPZOR5LcbQCoUKR9eis2RjnUcaraIoxyNg5IBG0tCsdoi1xAYMVPlC6BzKhHJ0t06DbXInrL7OQrIfQFGuVmzfFstGrQXNm4rQ/p.png?fv_content=true&size_mode=5)

Finally, I'm now called out in the forums by this guy, resulting in more messages coming in to my inbox. Again, not sure how or why I was pulled into this. I never responded to his messages, I don't know who Stigmata 93 or PickUpLinesFromHell are (it doesn't even look like there is someone on the forum with that username), and I'm not sure why you picked me in your wild conspiracy, but I would like to re-iterate that I DO NOT have any of these demos in any capacity (having said that, if someone DOES have these demos please PM me haha).

Stigmata93, I feel bad for people like you. You clearly having some sort of delusional episode where you're convinced everyone is working against you. Maybe you're conscious that you're lying and this is your chosen approach, or you actually believe people are hiding this from you personally, I don't know which is worse. But you've been a part of this forum for less than a year and it doesn't look like a single one of your posts has been constructive, kind or respectful to the community. I hope this is the last we hear of all this from you, but something about your messages tells me this won't end - you'll look at this as proof that everyone is out to get you, you'll continue harassing people, and you'll likely end up banned. I just hope if you actually believe what you're saying and this is a true delusional episode that you get the help you need.

I have a feeling they do it to a lot of people, I got 3 messages basically demanding kafferi even though I don?t have it I only heard the 15 second clip

It's a bizarre approach. Kind of like a scam caller claiming they already know everything about you and demanding you share more personal info.

Even if I had them, I wouldn't share them with someone that rude. Speaking of which, do you have the 15 second clip? Looks like I missed the leak

There's projects on here that I've needed to do for years now, but life gets in the way and the projects get less important.

Projects, shmojects. The fact that you still have this website up after all these years is more than anyone can ask of you.

Also, fuck a pin

Appreciate that.  Definitely fuck a pin lol

As far as I'm concerned it's only the Kafferi tapes in which some legitimately have. Everything else is bullshit stories that people tell for whatever their own personal reason is. And if it makes them happy, then so be it. I just don't understand it myself.

With that being said, though: is it at all possible that someone out there within our little community has more than that? Yeah, I guess so. I know that it's entirely possible for fans to get some of these things as history has already shown, I've just yet to see anything that would lead me to believe that it's the case with anything other than the Kafferi tapes. I would love to be proven wrong, though.

That reminds me of the story that a hard drive and other things were stolen from a show a few years back. I don't remember hearing anything about it after that and don't know what was on the drive or if it was ever recovered.

I don't see the band having demos just sitting in a bag backstage, but it I wonder what the contents were.

That thief got caught, right? I found this:

“Today when our crew was doing the linecheck at the venue in Melbourne some filthy bastard walked into our dressing room and stole our sound engineer Brad’s backbag,” writes band affiliate Janne Tamminen on his personal Facebook page, attaching an image of the alleged thief. According to Tamminen, the sound engineer’s bag contained “two passports with work visas to the places [the band] will be going on this tour in South America, laptop, credit cards, driver’s license, ID’s [sic], [and] hard disks with the recordings from all the HIM shows last year.”

Damn I had no idea it belonged to Brad. It could be that there was no finalized stereo mixes, just raw multitracks.

Ah, nice...that's the incident I was referring to.  I didn't know he was caught.  I didn't think they'd just walk around with demos in their bags, but imagine the FLACs we could get from those live shows lol.

I wanna say 2014. I haven't heard anything about the shows since, but what are the chances that he didn't copy the hard drives before he got caught? I don't know if he was a fan or just some local loser, but surely he was smart enough to do that first before the popo came and took him away.

Yeah, Feb 27 2014. Copying all that material would take hours man. I hope the guy got caught before he got home.

He had the time to do it before he got caught. If he wasn't a fan and he did copy everything we'd probably know about it by now though because he'd be looking to sell the shows and someone would probably blab about it.

I imagine the files straight off the board would be HUGE to copy. I also think there were a lot of shows to copy as well. If he did copy them,  I imagine he'd be scared shitless to leak them since the managment will know who had access to those shows. It would add more to his wrap sheet lol
Also, I didn't know brad still worked with them at the time

They did 65 gigs in 2013 and the first three from 2014 were probably on those hard drives too. We can pretend that the average playing time was 70min and 24 mixer channels were used on each gig. If Brad saved every performance as 24-bit/44,1kHz WAV, it'd almost fill an entire 2TB drive.

Brad's last gig was in China 2014.

Oh so did brad to do the mixes for the new 2014 vinyl bonus tracks? I imagine someone else did those considering they sound very different from stuff he's done in the past (2005 ep bonus tracks, VD live tracks)

even if he had time to copy them, he would still have to transfer those files to a DAW then mix it down
, which I would imagine would be too much work for just a backpack snatcher. How did they catch the dude anyway? Was someone able to identify them through the FB page?

I wouldn't underestimate a criminal. The dude had a plan for whatever he was gonna find in that dressing room before he even went snooping around in there. Whether he had enough time to follow through with that plan is the question since I can't remember now how long it took for the cops to find him, but surely he knew that there were cameras and eventually he was probably going to get caught. There would need to be some sort of payoff in it for him to justify the risk. Unless we have it all wrong and he was just going camping early in the morning with his buddies and needed something to carry supplies in since the stores were all closed.

Come on man, please calm down. No active member here or on Reddit has what you're looking for. "Liber" on whatever old forum doesn't have Witches, a random 4/5 rating doesn't mean anything. That's easy to say because the tracklist is totally made up bullshit. There was no Sleepwalking Past Hope or even Don't Fear The Reaper cover in 1992, obviously.

WTF is WTF??? Must be a joke. Synnin Viemää book has a photo showing the scans of that 1992 "Unga Kaskelottär" tape, all the info comes from there. I believe it's long lost. It's not HIM anyway. And I'm 93% sure that we will never get to hear any of these. Even if some old friend of the band from Finland had stuff and they shared it, most would sound like total crap anyways because tapes go bad in 30 years and the recordings aren't superior to begin with.

Why are you making multiple accounts?

Some random Liber from that website from the ice age DOES NOT have it, trust me. They would have corrected the tracklist, even the photo is wrong. It doesn't even say anything about them owning it.

Sources? Incorrect sources.

"Album photo" is the cover of a BOOTLEG release called "This Is Only The Beginning" (fan title). The photo of Ville is from 1996, 666 Ways To Love photoshoot. Not 1992!

If these are the same that were leaked in 2013 (which I’m pretty sure they are), Resurrection was corrupted since Miltos CD wasn’t in the best condition.

I’m so glad Juska decided to upload the front cover.
