Anyways.

I need help designing my tattoo. Anyone who is good in photoshop, or whatever want to take ago at helping me.

The only thing I want for sure is the Sacrament hearts. They two interlinking ones.

Other then that, I am curious to see what you guys can come up with.

I would also be very appreciative ;D

Edit: The tattoo will be placed on the bottom of my neck sorta in between my shoulder blades. I would like it to be a decent size, but that does not matter to much in the design phase. Oh, and I want something relatively simple.

that will probably cost you a pretty penny but then again nothing over 300 probably.... or at least based on the tattoo shops around here. Also that's a fleshy area so it probably won't hurt that bad and as long as it's not on any bones you'll be ok. Bones and nerves are the places that hurt the most for tattoos.

Around £60 - £80 depending on the artist.

Yes it would hurt but depending on how much pain you can take is how much.

I will do that, but I just want to make sure its what I want. I know some of you are good artisits and it might be cool to have another design around it or somthing.

that top one is actually very like what i want added to my HIM one. Have you actually seen mine? I only ask cos if you havent its strange that you picked one with extremely similar colouring. I want something like that top one coming from the base of the staff on mine kinda like a starburts, and then going into something cool at the bottom of my back.

I got my first tattoo almost 2 years ago, My next one is on the 30th of this month, then I got another one sometime in october.. Yes.. The artist is booked until then.. lol..

She said she has been doing tattoos for 7 years. I found her very randomly and it was a spur of the moment kind of thing, so I didn't check up on her.
I walked into the shop and she had just completed Van Gogh's Starry Night on this guys back. It was amazing! The best tattoo, I've ever seen. It looked better than this but here is the painting...

arms -"aseet" actually means weapons, but obviously you had no way of knowing.

"Ilossa ja surussa (minun) kotini on käsivarsillasi" would be the direct translation, but there is a problem here that "in your arms" doesn't really have a similar phrasal translation. Thus, "käsivarsillasi" would maybe be too concrete and doesn't sound all that natural. I can't really come up with a proper alternative, I guess "vierelläsi", but that means "by your side"...
"minun" means "my", but in the Finnish language these "my" and "your" etc are not often particularly marked as a word of their own, because as "home"=koti, "my home"=kotini. So I'd leave the "minun" part out, though it is not really a mistake.

Anyway, I don't know if I would recommend getting the direct translation either, you have to consult more Finns on this...

Damn, I thought that only after one post I was able to piss somebody off (for reasons unknown), I sometimes elicit that reaction in people :D OK, I'm sure everybody knew I was kidding.

My contribution to the tattoo thread: the stupidest tattoo I've heard of was this Finnish C-list "beauty queen's" who had "There where is a will, there is a road" inked on her stomach instead of "Where there is a will, there is a way"...hahaa, unluckily there where no Noelles to help her out then. :D

nah i found it somewhere on deviant art or something and liked it cause it wasn't your standard HIM tatt so i got it. i'm getting it shaded in and possibly making it a whole scene that wraps around my ribs and up to my nipple when i get the cash :)

That is the sweetest tatoo design i've ever seen. I want mine on my upper right arm and have some custom design around a heartagram like that. that is deffinetly amazing.

As for the info of Wikipedia being misleading, they have tried to lock most information so retards don't go and post that Hitler did infact survive his death, had one testicle and all of those rumours that were never proven.
But the ones that remain open are because they can add info, not change it.

I'm planning to have another visit so I can fix some details this year, the heartagram needs a little thickening and also some areas came out with less ink due to thicker scabbing I suppose.
But I'm very pleased with the result after all! ;D

wow, that would have to be a really insane tattoo...why don't you design something 321748932x better and show us all how great you are you tool. my tattoo is pretty intricate and i have gotten tons of compliments on it (from non-HIM fans included), not to mention tattoo artists that have seen it. the guy who did it put it in his portfolio also. so let's see what you got...

She kept my artwork though, said she wanted her husbands input on them also.

The thing is though..-might be either good or bad for me- that she gave the others that applied some tricky assignments to bring, all but me.. since i already had done some tattooing before.
I feel bad for hoping the other guys have some CRAPPY artwork, but i'd sell my soul for this if i could:)

So i don't know.. i would have to live with my grandparents under lock and key... but still have to hang with the old crowd during day..

some things just might not be worth it, so i'm really hoping for this to come trough:)

finally some backed me up, one thing i would say is with smaller tattoo's its not really worth wrapping it back up again same with line work, if you have a good tattoo artist then the only scabby areas will be the solid black parts.

Three friends of mine when to a crappy placed with a tattoo artist that did good tattos, but didnt know shit about maintaing them. So he told them to put hot water on and ALL THREE OF THEM started to fade out and look like shit. TRUST ME,if you want a good tattoo DONT take HOT water on it

No it wouldn't be weird at all. I like the design around the words.
Personally I wouldn't get those words in... like you say Love Metal would look better.

If I got it, I wouldn't have the word HIM on it - just my preference though, as I don't like band name tattoos on myself.

I think that "love metal" would be better because it will sum up all of HIM not just the album venus doom, since love metal is their genre (+ lm is the best album)

I'm gonna also add a heartagram behind the HIM like that one venus doom flyer with the different versions you can buy

i co-designed them with the tattoo artist :] i took a design and the first one he changed the direction of the stars etc, the second one he designed the inside of :]]

It seriously does not hurt as bad as you think. This was my first one and I got used to it after like 10 minutes.

I was going to get a heartagram on my middle finger but he fucked up on the triangle and now it is just a triangle because he chickened out on the heart. I have realized that with sandpaper and a lot of pain tattoos will come off.. But I don't advise this

Now i know you're supposed to use a pretty long labret stud for the initial piercing cause of the room for swelling.. Now i did it about an hour or so ago and now the back of the post looks like it's digging into the inside of my lip, so it kinda looks like the skin from the inside of my lip is trying to grow over it.. Now, my question is, is this normal or should i take it out?

Ok i opened the needle, put the needle and labret in alcohol, cleaned my lip, brushed and flossed my teeth, rinsed my mouth out with listerine, shoved the needle through and pushed the labret in.. But to avoid losing the back of the post, i went ahead and took it out this morning because it was digging deeper into my lip.. I assumed it was too short of a labret stud

it will be printed up as a 50 page paperback book.

50 pages...front and back...over 200 line drawings.

some artist tips and supply shouts.

if anyone is interested in purchasing one get at me.

its still in the development stages as of this very moment.

but it will be done and in print soon....first print issue will be a signed and numbered limited edition of 25.

the price is looking at being aabboutt $20...but sac members who want to get in on this will get a discount.

ive been putting a lot of hard drawing time in for the last few months...and it is all 100% original work...

ill put up some sample pages soon...but right now...give it a thought...and help me out!

PM me if your interested...and i will be sure to let you know when it is out.

if we get enough sac members to buy them...i may make a limited run of books just for you...so it will be uber limited...
