Are you still collecting live audio / video / DVD bootlegs??

I used to have everything on CD, now it's all digitally stored. I've become lazy with that.

i would like to start this over again, maybe some rare stuff will surface or whatever , i am now uploading all my audio bootlegs on my Box account (i have 50 GB) so ... ;D

Collecting is a lot easier now that it's downloadable. Someone could even download all bootlegs and rare tracks within a few hours maybe.

It's very nice to obtain 'hardcopy' live bootlegs with nice covers etc. Although from my experience, the question and offer for HIM isn't populair with bootlegs sellers and therefor you cant find the bootlegs that you can find on this community (official broadcasted concerts excluded)
So you really have to burn a concert yourself. But yes digital concerts comes in handy, when you find/download an 'incomplete' gig and somewhere elseyou find the one song which was missing in your incomplete gig. For us die hard collectors is like sunshine after rain - but i quess people could also misuse these digital material.
Looking forward to the 2013 gigs bootlegs! I'm searching for good equipment (but a lot is expensive) to record the gig in my hometown and then i can record more concerts too i quess. Gotta say, dont have any experience with recording concerts.

Same here. I somehow lost track (and interest) in HIM's music as I consider the rough albums "Greatest Lovesngs Vol. 666" and "Razorblade Romance" to be the ones I like most. "Love Metal" was still good but everything since 2005 sounded like commercialized piece of crap to me... Haven't actually listenened to "Tears on Tape" yet though the stuff arrived yesterday already...
But I kicked my own ass lately to get my bootleg collection up to date and again started to do some trades to get the stuff I'm missing since a couple of years...

I still have over 200 dvd's of downloaded and traded him bootleggs. They in a safe solid box under my bed for safe keeping.

Look at this! Somebody uploaded a live DVD bootleg! Now it became less rare!! I saw in the media forum, that somebody uploaded multiple full concerts which were deleted, but the same person (i think) uploaded one of them again!

I started to give up on it when so many of the shows became half-ass lousy quality incomplete rips from youtube. I don't collect the shows just to say I have it, I actually want to listen to it.

Preach it, brother! Once YouTube became popular, it got harder and harder to get a nice quality complete show. Seriously thinking about shortening my collection to end at 2004. The band stopped playing as good live after that year as well, so it only makes more sense.

I have a teensy tiny collection I've started but for me it's difficult to find things only because I don't really know where to look and I've not made a big effort. I find that some folks are very helpful and friendly and others are not. I hope everyone here is the friendly kind. ;D Do most people trade them? Just curious.

I never did get the one show I really wanted, Boston 04.18.2004 at the middle east downstairs. That was the first HIM show I ever went to, back in my sophomore year of college. I would still love to get my hands on that. lol, wishful thinking.

I still get somewhat excited whenever I see there's a new show recorded properly in lossless, whether it's a brand new show or older one surfacing for the first time, or just an alternate source of something. I just downloaded the Williamsburg Park show from Dime a few days ago. I haven't even listened to it yet. I probably won't ever get around to it and it'll more than likely end up getting trashed without being played even once. Still, I get excited when I see something like that. The only bootlegs I save nowadays, though, are the ones that I feel are significant in one way or another; like the drunken show from 2004, or the lossless source of Open Air '99. I'd love for the lossless source of the drunken show to surface, and more great quality lossless sources of older shows like the Open Air one. It'd be nice for something older than the Kelo Club show to pop up. It could sound like shit and I still wouldn't care.

As mentioned before I am mostly interested in complete proshot shows from 97-03, and I already have Hamburg 03 and Rock Am Ring 01 on dvd.
I guess my highest wants as for now are probably Berlin 2000 and Overdrive 98(tried downloading the zip file dvd from here, but keep getting error msgs when unzipping).

You can always check out Saint Scream's YouTube channel as well as long as don't mind ripping stuff from there. Downloading directly from the Saint Scream website has always been a pain for me, but whatever there isn't an active link for on here or there and you aren't able to find elsewhere, it should be on their YouTube channel. You could also check out RuTracker.org. I know they had a few DVDs on there, but I can't remember what they were or if anyone is still seeding them.
