With nearly a third of the year gone so far, what are you favourite albums that have been released? I know there's a certain album due to be released shortly which will feature in everyone's list. :D
Feel free to include albums that haven't been released yet if you know they will feature in your list. It will be interesting to see everyone's opinions and it may also give people (like me) a heads up on what albums to check out.
My favourites that have been released so far are:
Alkaline Trio
David Bowie
Suede
How To Destroy Angels

The new Bullet For My Valentine was pretty good. That's about it. Most music that's come out this year has been utter dog shit.

Beyond TOT, I don't even know what's coming out. I know the Sounds is recording a new one, and I'm looking forward to the eventual Lonely Island album.

I can't tell you the last time I discovered something "new" that I liked. I think the last release I liked was Alex Clare's Lateness of the Hour. I'll have to check out the Bullet For My Valentine album, I liked their previous work.

I'm looking forward to two albums especially:
"13" - Black Sabbath
"Random Access Memories" - Daft Punk
As for so far this year, "Tears on Tape" is probably my favorite. Honorable mention for Kid Cudi's "Indicud".

The new Sabbath on paper should be excellent. I just hope it delivers what it should. I can't believe I forgot to mention Daft Punk. I'm sure that will be great.

Ghost (Or Ghost.B.C. in America) released "Infestissumam" which is their second album on the 8th or 9th of April. I've had it since the 11th and i listen to it every day, not the whole album of course, but at least one song. In my opinion, i think that it is a masterpiece. Most people dislike Ghost/B.c. because of the whole scene of the band ( If you've never seen Ghost then google them, you'll know what i mean). But if you give them a listen then i'm pretty sure a lot more people will like them. James Hetfield from Metallica is a huge fan apparently. So yeah, i highly recommend you give it a listen.

Also, Motorhead will be releasing a new album this year. Not sure when though, but I'm already adding it to my list of top albums of 2013.
