Title: Alkaline Trio

I'm a big fan of Alk3 and have been for years. They're also one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Are there any other fans on here? I really like the new album. It seems to be a good mix between the new and the old sound. I know the more recent albums haven't been classics (IMHO) but they've been very good. The older work is amazing.

These guys deserve far more credit than they receive.

I enjoyed them early on, not so much anymore. I lost interest after Crimson. I did see them live when they were touring for Good Mourning, fantastic live show, and got to chat with them for a little bit afterwards.

You should check them out on Youtube or somewhere. Very good lyrics and black humour.

I would say the new album is the best thing they've done in a long time. Its far more like Good Mourning and pre-Good Mourning lyrics. Although the lyrics are possibly more mature.

Good! I would say the actual music sounds Good Mourning and pre-Good Mourning but the lyrics are a mixture between pre and post Good Mourning. I know I'm not the only Alk3 fan to feel the same way as well.  :)
