I heard/saw somewhere that HIM could be doing PR '08 this year..
Anyone know if its true or not?
Thanx.

It is true. Some dates are confirmed:
06/21/2008 Projekt Revolution Munich
06/27/2008 Projekt Revolution Berlin
06/28/2008 Projekt Revolution Dusseldorf
-
Who are they going to be touring with?

Who are they going to be touring with?
Linkin Park i think
-
Just them?
Would have been real cool if it was the same line-up as last summer :D
-
i know for sure that linkin park and jay-z are the headliners. So they'll def play the songs from collision course!

Wasen't Jay-z only with them in th UK?
-
linkin park, HIM and N.E.R.D. are confirmed yet
-
Those bands do so not fit together, but oh well
Hard to recreate the dream line-up from last year ::)
-
yes it?s hard to imagine that this will fit together
-
Wow.. they are pretty different ???
-
diversity is good people!!!!
-
we will see ;)

I thought they didn't enjoy PR last year?
Ah well, any gigs are good.
-
I think it's more for the record company to promote them than them wanting to do the shows.
-
The weird thing is, though, that these shows take place in Germany where they don't really need this sort of promotion. Playing at PR in America made sense promotion-wise, this... not so much.
I'm not complaining, though, just wonderin'.
-
agree, and no matter how much i like to see HIM live.. festivals isn't really the best place.
I just hope they get to play when it's dark, cos didn't they decide to never play in daylight again?^^

When did they say that?
-
I don't know if they said they'd never play in daylight again. The only thing I know is that Ville hates to play in daylight.
-
Ville did actually say that during an interview after PR was done. Can't remember which one, though. He said they made a deal within the band never to play in daylight again, and I believe he also said they told their booking agents (or whomever) not to book HIM for daylight gigs again. :P Although their policy might be more of a avoiding-them-as-much-as-possible rather than a definite no-no.
-
at least they will be in crowds were the peopleare just going to see just linkin park, my chem, and etc. They will have a better turnout in europe i'm sure, they do festivals all the time there and ive seen some in the day.

That doesn't make sense though, 'cause they still do things like Rock-AM-Ring and Rock-IM-Park and other festivals during the summer where they're taped in daylight.

I think this was probably said hastily. The situation last year did seem to piss him off alot, but I am sure if the situation is right, they will play daylight shows.
Though saying that, all the festivals they are playing this summer look as though they have late headlining/top of the bill slots. Maybe they are too big to play in daylight now :P.
-
im kinda mad HIM isnt playing americas projekt but then again last year i dont think they were to thrilled to be on the bill but americas projekt sucks this year in my opinion
-
if someone is interested in..
the bands for the project revolution tour in germany are
linkinpark, him, the bravery, n.e.r.d and the used.
-
Does anyone know if tonight's gig will be broadcasted?
-
I heard that they played a very good gig in munich and they also played Rebell Yell again ;D
they played 55 Minutes and it was very hot 30° but Ville came with jacket and his woolly hat :o
-
I would have liked to see it...*.*
