K: I'm fond of Bleed Well.
V: That's going to be our next single. Hopefully the radio will start playing it. We'll see what happens. Now the set is taking shape. We'll start changing the set around later, but not now. Now we're fine tuning the new material live. Also, we're going to be shooting a dvd in LA during our gig. We'll see how it will turn out. It may be good, it may be a really fun night. Or it could really suck and we'll hide it somewhere in our archives. Or we'll just burn it [kidding]. But it's good, so now we're just focusing on fine-tuning the material. Trying to get a balance between the old songs and the new songs. We're trying to get the sense of drama when we're doing the set.

any single that be realesed I think it will be great...the hole album (VD) is a very very good disc,so I hope the next single will be Bleed Well but if it doesn't the next I don't really care about it because I'm sure that whatever be the next song will be awsome anyways :P

Yeah, it's kind of odd he told you a live version of Love In Cold Blood will be featured on the new single when it hasn't even been played live yet.
Love In Cold Blood seems like it would be difficult to perform live because of the layered vocals. I don't think it would translate well.

Ville: "These are probably really the only ones we can play live. A lot of stuff on the album is really impossible to play live you know - too many backing vocals, too many overdubs..."
It's not so much the layered vocals I guess, but the chaotic intensity that's accomplished by layering multiple tracks in this particular case.

Well you can play VD any other way as well.

Tuning shouldn't be a problem. You can always have another guitar properly tuned off to the side for when you need it.
They's just don't wanna play VD.
Come to think of it, I don't wanna play VD neither. It sorta itches...

Those are all Los Angeles locations.
Nothing close to a god public place, they should have done it at Pizza Hut next to the Staple's Center so people know where exactly.

It would be cool if Bam does direct the new vid, but right after I posted last I read on Blabbermouth.net that they're just supposed to cut video from the dvd shows for 'Bleed Well'...Could that be a rumor IDK, can't trust everything on Blabbermouth...

Oh NO!! This is so fucking sad!!! I hate videos where people is just jumping around!! They totally suck!! Things like Killing Loneliness... new video...!! That sucked!! It was a kind of shitty video! I don't want them to repeat a video like that one!

HIM has already done a few live videos, namely Poison Girl and Heartache Every Moment. I'd like to see one with a great story/concept, like Funeral of Hearts or Join Me (Ice version).

I think I'd rather see a concept vid instead of a live one or one like Killing Loneliness( New version), but then again it's been awhile since they did a live vid so it might be cool to see a new one...

I really hate Bam as a person and for a HIM butfuck, but his videos are fairely good.

Bleed Well seems like a good choice for a new single. Probably the most commercial song on the album.
Although Bam's videos are sometimes cool (BABL) and sometimes awful (Solitary Man) I think they tend to look and feel the same. Not to mention kind of cheap looking.
Maybe a more professional video would help them actually get some airplay. Or at least mix it up with different directors to get a different style. ::)

i think is only a digital single, i like the fisical single too...
cause in the digital stores is supposed to be sold out the single and backordered but is a lie, cause only a promo version with the bleed well radio edit is the way you can buy the single or in itunes store.

But still they say it's going to be released, but who knows... It's taking too long.

By the looks of it, it really does seem like there'll never be physical copies of this single for sale. There would be no sense in releasing it several months after the music channels/radio stations started playing it. By now the song is already long gone from their playlists, at least in Europe.
They used to do a decent job in getting the singles out and whatnot, but nowadays it's like - who's on charge? It's really easy to forget they are supported by a big label, since you'd expect stuff like this to be taken care of, but it seems like little effort is put into it. If they wanted to do an "iTunes only" release then fair enough, but it wouldn't hurt to make it clear from the start to the people waiting to purchase it in a store. Step up, WB. ::)

But why would the stores keep pushing the release date back? Why not just drop the listing altogether? This pisses me off, I really want a physical CD with the Killing Loneliness remix on it. I'm not too concerned about SPH since it's gonna be on D.V.D.

Some stores have dropped it, but places like Amazon seem to just push the date back for some reason. Maybe they're as confused as we are?

I read a time ago on a merchandising site, that the singles will compretely dissapear this year.
I really think it blows.
But, I really, realyl want to get the bleed well single, but it isn't available in my f*cking iTunes store (I live in the netherlands) and I'm really pissed about that.
Do you guys know how I can get the single now?

I've never bought a download before and I still don't intend to.
It might sound terrible, but digital music we can get for free, it only takes a minute to find it.
I believe many people do the same.
That's why I buy physical singles/albums. That you can't get for free, so I feel my money is worth something.
