I've seen mentioned on here a few times that they've heard HIM being played in the most unlikely of places. So I thought I'd contribute and make a thread for it.
Just yesterday, whilst in study hall at my school, my teacher was listening to the ESPN radio on the internet, idk who's show it was, it was on around 1:45, but this dude, who sounds to be in his 40s or so, chooses what music he plays. And his introduction music for the day was Soul On Fire. I laughed for about 15 minutes, and then to my amazement, he started playing Inhuman Creation Station. So apparently these sport nuts aren't all fucked to hell hahahaha

at a strip club i was there with a few friends after work i was wearing the black RR shirt from the first tour....
any way i wear your sweet 666 being played i turn to the stage(i was shooting pool at this time) and i see the hottest chick on the play stripping and i noticed a heartagram tatt on hear lower back after her set she came over and we chated for a while about our music taste.. i still talk to her from time to time. she's a really sweet girl.

Well, when I go out with my friends we usually go to heavy or hard rock bars.
I love them and I am always asking for HIM music to play on that bars.
Most of them have HIM music so they play it and I always feel excited and happy when they do it.

I had the DJ at my grad party play a bunch of Deep Shadows. By which I mean I gave him 4 CDs with a list of appropriate tracks and he didn't change discs.

I Went On Vacation To Turkey About 2 years back, and I was In some grotty bar/restaurant, and I was sitting there eating my dodgy meal, and all of a sudden in the backround my ear picked up on a beautiful tune, the weird turkish people were playing wicked game.
The only good thing about the Restaurant,lol.

ooooh i cant remember what music channel somethin like smash hits or the hits i saw funeral of hearts it was weird to see it bein played on a pop music channel. Samheartagram i saw smallville with wg bein played in it i thought it was great! ;D

yeah I gte what you mean, weird to see that they are getting air time on bizarre

I've seen HIM on the Danish The Voice channel too... And it's not only RnB / Hip-Hop. They play rock too ;-)

me and my girlfriend were at a strip club in philly...this hot whore started talking to us for like an hour (the cool part was she wasn't even trying to get us to buy anything) she was asking me about my HIM tattoo, and then 2 mins later, she was dancing to Wicked Game...pretty sweet

I remember when I was in the bus ~year ago I heared Under The Rose. I'm not sure it is comes from radio or did driver played it, but it was cool because journey was boring.

this was crazy for me. all my friends shook their heads at me(even though they're HIM fans and they just pretended not to be).......
so i was at a 3 inches of blood/gwar show like a month ago. and they were just playing random music before the show started. usually though when you go to a show they play music that is either similar to the performance of the night. and to my ears i hear "venus in our blood".
and then the same thing happened the next night.same venue.same song. but it was municpal waste/suicidal tendencies.
i was just happy i didn't hear any booing

I once heard HIM on the radio when my family and I were in luxembourg...that really made my day, especially since my dad was too busy trying to find the way to my sis to change the channel (which he normally does when stuff heavier than the beatles is playing)

I once heard KL in an H&M store, felt pretty weird really since it means HIM must have been on radio which never happens here! plus I don't want the goofballs inside H&M to hear our beautiful HIM lol :P

i was out of town and in calgay AB.
so i was at a big ass mall and i just bought ALSN and RR and after i left i came across a stand where some girl stiches logos onto clothes. she was listening to a mixed him cd and i went up and we started talking. she seen my cds and then stiched a heartagram on my touque for free :D

oohhh, they had Bleed Well on Metal on [V] which made me fall off my chair. They never play anything good!!
Other than that...I never hear HIM where I live. I'm the only one I know that listens to them for a 100 mile radius! To me, that's a wonderful thing!

The strangest places i`ve heard HIM is here in norway when i was walking past a shop called "Blend" its like a shop with "trendy" clothing and shit. just blondes and spoiled brats that ususally shops there...anyway, i went past it and they got speakers pointing out to the mainstreet and also on the inside of the shop. And then i came walking and i heard Join me blasting out of the speakers. Decided to stick around just too see if they played some more and then i realised they playd the whole Razorblde romance album.
Also heard Killing Lonliness at H&M and when i was going to ruisrock three years ago we where stopping at a gas station at 5 O`clock in the morning. It was somewhere between Turku and Helsinki. And they had the radio going on the speakers and suddenly the sacrament came on.

I'm seeing the live version of "Join Me" (of the Digital Versatile Doom DVD) in the subway (or "tube" if you're British)... it is rather strange, although it is not the first time something like that happens: when 'Venus Doom' was released was common to see the "Kiss Of Dawn" video broadcasted on the subway stations.

Weirdest place I heard HIM was at a video store in my town, they were playing the dvd of Digital Versatile Doom, the whole dvd! It was nuts, but really cool.

The wierdest place i heard him was when i was going by some temporary shop that was selling bags, coats, towels...etc and i heard some kind of music comming from the back that i seemed to recognise but becuase i couldn't make it out becuase of all the other abient noise from all the people about i went in and they were playing Funeral of hearts.
I hung arround to see if they were playing any other HIM songs but it was crap music after that.
