There were more people at the UK gigs but no other difference between them and the US, really. What did you think?

The UK gig was a much bigger venue then they have played in the states so far. The balcony wasn't full but there will still loads of people. They just played better though at the Halloween show. It was 1000 times better than any of the US shows so far. They were just more relaxed, talkative, and free spirited.

The night before the balcony was closed off - there were no people up there at all. Believe it or not they were even more relaxed in NYC on Nov. 14 - Ville was constantly smiling and laughing and dancing. (And of course he was relaxed on the 15th - being totally shitfaced ::) ) London was brilliant but Nov. 14 was the best I've seen.

I'm trying to think if the LA shows are really all that different than the SF shows. There are more tards at the LA ones, that's for sure, but the same amount of pushing and bullshit as SF.
There are only 2 out of the 7 shows I've been to that I haven't met/seen up close at least 2 members of the band.

Ya, I was there. I have pictures somewhere. That's when I first met Ville (I couldn't hang around 2 hours after the Roxy to wait for him like Carrie) And yes, I cried like a baby. It was great! He was really nice and Seppo even handed a cd of mine to Burton who was already on the bus so I could get it signed.

They are very good to their fans. But circumstances sometimes are that they can't take the time to stop. And I fear that as they get more popular it will just be impossible for them to do it anymore :'(
Meeting them is a little bit of luck and a little bit of being in the right place at the right time. Out of 6 gigs, I saw/talked to most of them at 3. (not bad odds) And the first time I didn't even know enough to try. Other fans who stayed after did meet them.

What can I say? I've been tired and feeling very "eh" lately. It totally slipped my mind that Mige, Burton, Linde, and Gas took the bus down to LA that night and Ville and Seppo flew the next day. I can barely remember what I did yesterday much less who got where when. ;)

I lived in Dallas too, my Dad flew me in just as a special graduation present, that's why I only saw them on the first US tour. But I did get into the second row and get a little bit of film.
And I got to talk to Ville a little bit on the phone, he was staying in our hotel (Luxor) and he said the band was just getting in and getting settled.

It was at this random empty store (I think they used it as a gallery every now and then) in Sac on a random ass street. Haha. It was a pretty good show though, until the cops shut it down. There were maybe 40 or so people. Pretty small crowd but RS were really nice guys and sounded awesome!
And I have now seen HIM 11 times in the past year and a half.

i feel the same as jack sparrow. I live in oklahoma, and they are never here. I can only afford to travel to texas. which sucks butt. If they'd come to oklahoma, the surrounding states could come, since it's right in the middle. Lots of good arena's too. cox center, ford center, diamond ballroom, green door (would be packed if they went there), skyy bar, redhawk baseball arena, i mean... C'MON....lol. all we get here are lame bands. NIN are coming but i wanna see HIM. :(

I saw HIM at shepherds bush, London, on 19th September 2005. First and only time, but i am going to see them again in april at brixton. (was Januay). Guess the UK is lucky for bands... We've had so many good acts come here recently, and over 2005, and the first few months of 2006 are looking good too.

Once.This Wednesday(2006.02.15) in Berlin.I`ve made 1000km to see HIM (from Vilnius to Berlin).

Seen them 3, and met them those 3 times. First two were pretty meh, because it was Download in Glasgow and the sound was terrible. 2nd time in my hometown, Ville seemed really bored (it was during the huge ALSN tours), but 3rd time in London in September was really great. Takes a long time to get there, but its worth it for those performances.

Each time they've had an US tour. Now i dont know if he's better else where but each time i saw them he just stood around talked to the crowd and smoked like 231 cigs.

I saw three gigs. One of tham was in Tavastia at this New Year. It was great! I love Helsinki so much, it's so beautiful sity! And I saw two gigs in Russia this february. Moscow's gig was so funny... :)

At the Vienna gig this year they played RHIMA with a Please Don't Let It Go outro like they do with TV Eye. Probably what he meant.

Was meant to see them a few times over seas over the years (US, UK, Finland,Germany, New Zeland), but it always got screwed up...
