• My friend and I also were being harassed by this homeless dude one morning while waiting in line for doors to open. It was super early and we were the only ones out there. This guy just would not leave us alone and we were scared he had a knife on him or something and would eventually pull it on us and rob us at the very least. Finally some big burly dude comes over and scares the homeless guy away, and we never see him again thankfully. Turns out it was one of the roadies with Monster Magnet.

• Haha. I forget what year it was, but it was their usual fall US tour and Mige came outside and started handing candy out from a Halloween bucket to everyone in line. That was the closest I ever got to anyone in the band. There was also a show in Chicago where I'm convinced Bam was there, but I know someone else who went said it was just a lookalike. Looked, sounded, and acted just like him, though. Completely wasted and handed his beer to some random person.

• I remember one particular time I was around the back of the venue and saw Mige and Gas get off the bus.  I was excited and yelled their names like an idiot and took a few steps towards them only to be greeted by burly security guards and told to step back lol

• We're still here buddy!  Over this past weekend I was at the movie theater next to the venue in Houston where I saw HIM for the first time.  It brought back so many memories for me and thought I'd see if anyone was still here.  Good to see it hasn't completely rotted over.

• Thanks, guys. So many of our memories were tied up in HIM, and this forum is like a time capsule capturing that plus everything else it's meant to me over the years. It sucks that the band ended and everyone just sort of left. It's almost like a graduation. Everyone's “grown up” and off doing their own thing now in other parts in the internet. I still log in here every single day just to see if someone has posted something new. Hell, I even check the Reddit every now and again. So many parallels to my life it's not even funny lol. Everyone else has moved on with their lives to different/bigger and better things and I'm still stuck in the same spot clinging to the past. So deep lol.

• Not to get too real or depressing on ya'll, but it's been a little over four months now since my best friend since sixth grade (and fellow HIM fan/former OG Sacrament member) passed away in a freak accident. Just a couple of years ago I never would've imagined I'd be living in a world without him and without HIM. Yet another reason why I'm thankful Jay keeps this site around. I can dig through the forums and find his old posts and mine relive the memories. Also, that Pink Mist song by Gunship was pretty cool.
