I was able to make it out to Starland Ballroom in Jersey this past week for the first show of the tour. Id have to say it was a bit...eh. They still have to get warmed up, that i understand. There were a few times Ville looked visibly upset at the sound guy giving him signals to adjust the volume on the monitors and so fourth. The set itself was pretty well rounded. They played SLeepwalking Past Hope which was great. Gas busted out a dreum solo at the end. The rest of the set were pretty much standards. No encore, but that dosent suprise me. Overall a decent show.

reading this it reminds me of the show at the wiltern, when Ville was also getting upset with the sound guy...i dont remember if it was during the song or after the song finished...Ville just threw his Mic over to the sound guy and called him like a cunt or something..its good to know they played Sleepwalking Past Hope that song is awesome...can't wait to see them.

Mr. Valo's becoming a bit of a diva.

Finally, Sleepwalking Past Hope live, I never thought they'd play it live...
-
If I were Ville I'd release a SPH single on a 7 minute version, but it's good they played it live anyway.

...it's so fake, he's got to quit doing that. he's been doing that since the very first American show, and he does it all the time, it looks like he's self-conscious and doesn't know what else to do. or who else to blame cause he thinks he doesn't sound like a rock star.

there's a thread for the US tour already...
