A year ago or so, I decided to sell most of my HIM collection because I was growing tired of it. I used to roam eBay for memorabilia all the time to add to my collection, and after a while you kinda know how much an item is worth. But my question is; how much are people willing to give for the rarer items nowadays? I still have my 666 Ways To Love copy to sell, and I honestly don't know how much I need to ask for it. Is 750 dollars too much?
I hope someone can help me out with this.

HIM items aren't worth nearly as much as they were around 2003/4. You'd be really lucky to get $750 for 666 Ways To Love.

Man, $750?? Nah, I really doubt you'd get that. At best, in my opinion, $250 - $350 max. I'm going with $250.
I should have sold my sealed HER CD a long time ago. :(
-
Damn, that's a lot less than a few years ago.

I'm not a huge collector but that's the only thing i could never get my hands on an official 666 ways to love i wish i had the money i would buy it from you

I see on most sites the prices for HIM stuff has dropped. As for 666 Ways to Love, I saw it go for 200? a week a go.

i had a friend about five years ago making a killing off Valo-esque jackets on ebay. hed go to thrift stores and buy old black blazers for 3 bucks then sell them on ebay with desgisns for 200. bidding was crazy

I think that the decline in the price of HIM records is a reflection in the decline in the record collector market as a whole, there have been quite a few major specialist collector record shops that have gone out of business in London. The internet has given us alot of options to shop around for the best prices and that means more competition and cheaper prices.
I think alot of the reductions in the HIM prices are down to the fact is that people like me just don't have the money anymore to pay the prices that the HIM records are worth, and so the items are selling for less. It doesn't stop me from buying it just means those more pricey items will have to wait for me to buy them.
It a bit of a gambling game selling you cds you could wait to see if the market picks up or it could decline further.
