-
damn good review. and i agree with one on the posters comments
"versatile doom is up there with rammstein's volkerball dvd in terms of amazingness"
-
wow HIM deserve the awesome review that they got :]
-
I would have to say that I agreed with pretty much everything they say in the review. It's awesome that HIM got such great words said about them!
-
the only thing the dvd need was some videos or like a tour vidoe type thing lol
-
I loved DVD, amazing live performance, really takes u back if u have ever seen them live, Only they didn't play anything from DSBH which was a lil upsetting. I would like to have heard petending and love you like i do, but maybe they are to slow to play?
I heard on Wiki that there was going to be a premiere of a dead lovers lane video on the special edition of the album, but it turned out to be bullshit.
-
So no Dead Lover's Lane video? Are there going to be anymore videos from VD?
-
they should make a video for sleep walking past hope but it would have to be cut down if anyone wanted to show it on tv
-
I really don't think that's a good idea.
Sleepwalking Past Hope isn't "single material". It's far too long, complex and is the complete opposite of what a single should be. This isn't a bad thing at all (we may even speculate if it's a good thing... but let's not get carried away): for me it's the best song on 'Venus Doom' and simultaneously one of HIM's best creations to date.
To cut is down to fit a video with a reasonable single time would be a complete distortion of the song main qualities and purpose: its several layers and the sensation that we're going on a trip throughout a dark story.
