Scared to Death
In the biblical sense and sensibility
Let me know you
I'll kiss that smile off your face, just say when
Just say when
[Chorus]
I'm not afraid
To say I love you
Any more than I used to be, babe
I am scared to death
I am scared to death to fall in love
All these pickup lines from hell
Ice break is infernal
From the heart so black and blue
only for you
Just say when, again
[Chorus]
I'm not afraid
To admit I adore you
Any more than I was before babe
I am scared to death
I am scared to death to fall in love
with you
with you
With you, I'm scared to death
I'm scared to death
I'm scared to death
And you're sweet like poison

Thanks for your work.
Your lyrics are better now but some of then don't match because the quality of the videos.
Can't understand the first part of Love's the hardest way when you say does the birdhouse?.... rain

Birdhouse is in parenthesis with a question mark because that's what it sounds like he is saying, but it's most likely not. And the other parts when there's no question marks like "Won't you lose yourself into (in tune)" for instance, the word "into" could be "in tune" but it's very hard to tell.
And btw, there are much more clearer videos available than what is posted on the front page. I'll try to link them.

I'm almost positive it's
"I'll kiss that smile off your face, just say when.
Just say when."
And the first line of Love the Hardest Way is
"I'm done counting teardrops in the rain"

I'm hearing a "thousand" in there, not "birdhouse" lol
-
I don't here anything that closely resembles "thousand" it sounds like "is the bird(third) out want teardrops in the rain", but regardless that part sounds nothing like all other smaples of the song we currently have available. I'm willing to bet he just blurted out words for that verse lol.
-
Thank's !
-
Thanks Inferno and the rest of the people.
With these clearer videos the possible lyrics can be understood better.

I think he says: Who's haunting teardrops in the rain?

I still think "counting teardrops in the rain" sounds more poetic lol
-
Maybe: there's the girl haunting teardrops in the rain.

Makes no sense.
-
Love the hardest way reminds me of Under the Rose.
Anyone feels the same?
I love, love's the hardest way song.
-
hey he sings in love the hardest way: there´s the devil counting tear drops.....
100%

Are you absolutely sure? I can't find a video that clearly has him saying "There's the" and I think it is unlikely because it puts that line at 11 syllables whereas the 2nd verse "could you cry..." is only 9. Having that big of a difference in syllables would really throw the balance of the song off.

There's a better quality version of that same show, there was something going on with the crew in the background and ville was helping them and almost missed his queue to start singing and what he says is "here we go so the devil's counting teardrops in the rain" It's the only show he does it on. He's not saying "there's the devil"
-
yeah damn, but it sounds like there´s the devil... for me of course
:D
-
I don't think it is "choose to be known" and "won't speak more".
Sounds more like "used to be, no" and "was before "
-
In the biblical sense... (btw, to know you bibically means to sleep with you for those who may not know)
anymore than I used to be babe....
-
i really like this song. deff a good one.
HIM's writing solid 'singles' again.
STOKED!

Yep, I was thinking to post that when I read you already did it
-
Dunno if anyone has said this yet but there are a few noticeable errors in the lyrics.
"Anymore than I used to be, babe"
"All these pick up lines from hell..."
-
Which makes the following line "Ice breakers infernal" follow logically.
-
nice one guys...makes sense

I knew the first one, but just never changed it due to it making very little difference and because he's used different words in the live versions (used to darling, use to baby). As for the "Anymore" part, the correct way to say it in the context is "Any more" (Yes, there's a difference)
Thanks for catching the 2nd one... he doesn't enunciate very well at times and it makes it hard to clearly understand what he's saying.
-
Again, good job....
-
I absolutely love this song! Awesome )))
