My "Venuses" arrived today, both special and limited edition. I like both of them especially the cream colored digipack one... The "diary" "leather" version is OK but yeah, overpriced as hell... There is some diff artwork inside and bigger pages though...  ;D

How do we find out where it is in the charts in the UK, since TOTP's has finished?

In a way that's a step backwards, though, 'cause HIM have gone number 1 with every album since RR. But as Ville said before the release, it'd be a healthy blow to his ego if VD didn't make it to number 1. :) Good job nonetheless.

It's about time someone humbled that mother fucker. God knows he'll never see himself as anything short of a god at a HIM headlined show.

Hopefully this, and the crowds from Projekt Revolution will center him a bit.

well greetings guys,    I need to say something...

I just received the limited edition of VD and the only thing I can think of is...

SHIT!!!!

pardon my french

damn cardboard, leather my ass,  the package came all beaten up, I dont fully understand the "art" in the "journal",  the same printed "polaroids" with that weird alien looking Linde.

So I feel ripped off,     I kept faithful to them and I paid $60+ on this thing that should cost $20.

At least the music is good.

Mine came fine. I almost wish it came beaten up, then I could hound them for a refund. The packaging is extremely lackluster, the album is nothing special, and the bonus tracks are bullshit.

you're right,   the cds art is crap.   I liked the songs in the album.  The bonus tracks are annoying.   Bleed Well acoustic is great.

i apologize if this has been brought up......

but does anyone know what is up with "them"(whoever them is) changing the HIM logo on VD. they softened the letters and rounded them off+they got rid of the best part of all....the strikeout line through the middle.

True. At least I've got the mp3s to hold me over. Not like that PKF remix is that great anyways. Oh so I haven't gotten my KOD singles from recordstore yet  :'(.  They were sent out on 9/11 and I still haven't gotten them. Usually my orders from there show up in 7 to 9 days, tops. I got a KOD promo from England that was shipped on 9/18 that showed up yesterday. Figure that out.

I haven't gotten my recordstore shipment yet.  Anyone else feel ripped off by the limited edition leather book VD?  It's cool, but the Dark Light tin was so much cooler and cheaper...

It's a huge ripoff. That's why I got the special edition and just downloaded the BW Acoustic. If I really want the band to get my money, I'll give it to 'em at a concert where they actually make something.

Killing Loneliness is. KL was never released as a live recording. WOAB might just be the same one that's on the KL single.

Theres a small Venus Doom ad in this month's Revolver, and at the bottom it specifically states, "Also available as a limited edition CD with bonus tracks and limited edtion vinyl".
Has anyone seen it for sale or a release date?
