I'm looking forward to that interview.Hopefully he provides some real insight into how they reached the decision to break up.I'm also very curious about the solo album.Musically, of course, but also the fact that he has stated it will be what the next HIM album was supposed to be. In that regard, I can't imagine Ville doing anything else except for maybe a covers album that probably wouldn't draw very much interest or income. Whatever winds up happening, he's still going to be much better off than the rest of the guys who will fade off into obscurity once it's all over whether they choose to make me music or not.I'd love to know the thought process behind the solo album and how the rest of the band feels about essentially being replaced.

I certainly hope we get some real answers. What I'm worried we'll get is a bunch of "ying/yang" bullshit like usual. "We felt that HIM's darkness had faded and it was time to brighten up the place...with an Ikea lamp."

"We felt that HIM's darkness had faded and it was time to brighten up the place...with an Ikea lamp."LOL that's SO what I can read him saying too...I was talking with a friend today and had an idea that HIM was in fact dead, but came back as another band that was darker/heavier, but never acknowledge their past and don't play their old songs. Similar to Ghost, who was a pop band before they changed their gimmick...though I don't expect them to change singers each album.
Ive got the Metal Hammer issue, i bought it yesterday. ill post some scans later on today so you guys can read the whole interview. It came with a cool little book that documented the history of HIM too which will be collectible for sure.
