One track was not recorded in Finland, but at a famous Los Angeles hotel on the spur of the moment. Valo got some inspiration and picked up his acoustic guitar, and the producer captured him recording the minute-long "Song or Suicide," the shortest track in the band's history. The tune was inspired by a folk song from the '70s: "It's a quote from a folksy singer who died from a heroin overdose, Judee Sill," explains Valo. "She had a relationship that was really bad, and in an interview she just said it was either a song or a suicide, so she wrote a song about it."

Forgotten now when and where it was... think it was 2005/6? Anyway, it was after some show in the US, and he was drinking and met some bloke and went to some hotel or motel or something and must have fallen asleep after drinking some drug the bloke spiked him with... then the bloke stole his mobile phone etc.
i dont know wether to laugh or feel bad :P

he also had to go to the doctors or hospital to get checked out to see if anything else had gone on while he was drugged - but apparently he was still ok down below.
Nasty!
But seriously though, How unlucky can one man be? That's a pretty horrible thing to happen. Then added to all the other crap.

that happened on the dark light tour when he was doing a lot of coke and drinking alot it was probably a drug dealer i wouldnt doubt it im happy that he's clean now other wise i think he would have wound up dead by now.

Wow shocked this topic arose again. But then again the world of HIM has been pretty quiet lately. I can't seem to find new info anywhere. Then again I do live in Philly so....
