Simple question...though I realize that some people may say they'll see the band only because it'd be their first time.
-
I've only seen HIM twice, It'll take a few more shows before I get tired of the set list.
-
even though if they played half-playback show with Wicked Game and BABL only, i would fucking went to see them , but they need to come at least to Austria or Czech republic because i cant travel to Germany its too far
-
I voted for depends. Besides Rock Allegiance, I've only missed seeing them on one tour here in the US. I even went to Projekt Revolution back in the day and left after they were done playing. I'd like to see them at least one more time, but it's going to depend on how convenient it is for me, and if it's worth the trouble. If the setlist is still the same old songs, and the opening bands are shitty, I might have to sit this one out again. I can't imagine them playing with someone I'd really wanna go see, so I guess it'll all depend on the setlist and if it's easy for me to go. If they change it up and start playing some better songs, I'll have no choice but to go.
-
I voted for depends too. I missed out the fist US mini tour in 2004 as they weren't anywhere near me.
I'd like to see them headline the tour. But if they were sandwiched between decent bands, I'd go. I liked the Projekt Revolution tour. I liked this last tour (minus Volbeat) as I wanted to see All That Remains.
I'm 95% sure that no matter what, if they came near me, I'd be there.
-
I would go if they came anywhere close to where I live & I could get the time off from work. But it would be nice to see a different setlist...
-
I'm contractually obligated to myself to go to any and all HIM shows that come near me
-
they should take the 69 eyes with them on tour at least once, it would have been perfect no matter what boring setlist they had
-
I've only seen 69 Eyes once, with Cradle of Filth. I loved it!
69 Eyes and HIM together on a tour would be great...maybe we can put together an online poll and have people vote on it to make it happen. ::)
-
I've yet to see The 69 Eyes. The best time to do it would've been when they first toured here, but I'd still like to see them once. The possibility of HIM touring with them here in the US is zero, right now anyways, but it would be an amazing tour and hopefully something that happens eventually. Add a reformed and rejuvenated CKY to the mix as well and we can all pretend it's the early 2000s again for one night.

most definitely! ;)
-
I'd see them again for sure. I hope they come back to Minnesota headlining!
-
Did anyone get tickets for Helldone?
-
I go no matter what and actually will travel so I can see as many shows as I can. I had tix for the first mini TOT tour for both NYC shows so when that cancelled I bought tix for the Rock Allegiance shows in Atlanta and Greensboro- only because I was afraid that they wouldn't be coming back for a real tour later. But with the recent news that they may be coming back to the States, I'll be making sure that I save up and go to as many shows as I can. One day dammit I want to go to Helldone before they quit doing those altogether!

It sounds like Ville has heard all the moaning about the set list. In this interview he reveals his ultimate set list, and the answer is nothing :o

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. They'll play Wicked Game until we're all dead.
-
Wicked game - its not even their song ;D
-
They've played it more than anyone else in the history of time- it's theirs now! ;D
-
I'm most definitely going to see their next US tour. They always will play new songs from new cds and anything they play is fantastic. Its a shame they weren't the headline for rock allegiance and didn't play I will be the end of you, sleepwalking past hope and when love and death embrace. The Cincinnati show I saw even cut out the funeral of hearts so that was depressing (beings that I drove with my friend from Pittsburgh 5 hrs away). Other than that the songs they play are the crowd pleasers either way. It's not like they dropped wicked game, your sweet 666 and it's all tears, all from their first cd. On valo's quote about the setlist I think it is a variety other than not playing Deep Shadows and Screamworks material (cd's that didn't do very good) Hope they come back to the states for a HIM headliner tour... and yeah with The 69 Eyes or Nightwish would be mind-blowing. I have seen the eyes once so seeing Nightwish would be so cool.
I vote yes

So did anyone buy their tix for the US Tour in 2014? Just curious who all will be going... have to say I was surprised there wasn't a date for Detroit.
-
I'll be at the HOB in LA on March 7.
Has there been any news on the opening act?
-
I haven't bought my tickets yet, but I will be in Houston. I checked Ticketmaster the other day and there wasn't info on the openers.
