Yeah, thats my only worry. I'm really looking forward to new material though. Even if it is another Dark Light there will hopefully be some quality songs.

Why is everyone dumping on the band?They took a direction alot of fans wanted.

Bands make mistakes/ take new directions. It happens. Whether this choice was the producers' or the bands', we may not ever know. Perhaps it is a mixture. It could be worse. They could use a drum machine like in "Too Happy to Be Alive," and say "Well Darling's, we're going for a more 80's feel."
I love Gas but he needs to be more creative cause his drummingis just the same on almost every song so yeah I think I will agree with muschy in saying bring on the drum machine and the 80s feel. I would rather have that then the same beats over and over again.
