Alright, I admit, nothing looks extremely different, but this is a more modern look than we had before.

And, I finally decided to stop being lazy and decided to do something I've always wanted to do:

You can now choose your own look for the forum. We have a color scheme and layout for each album! Try them out for yourself and figure out which one you like the best.

To change your layout, go to your profile and on the left choose Look & Layout preferences. At the top of that page, it'll have a link where you can change your look.

Let me know if there are any problems. Once again, thank you for keeping this place alive.

Probably won't be for a while... the lack of news is worrying me... I've had one of my favorite bands break up before and it just recently happened again with Charon. I really hope this isn't the case for HIM.

Nah, I don't think they're done. I had read something about Gas having some issues with his forearms, like shin splints but in his forearms. (This was in an interview with Ville, so there's no telling how much is truth or how much he is embellishing.)

I read a short interview with Seppo where he was talking about Gas too, but he seemed pretty hopeful - I can't remember where I read it though!

I'd love to see this place busy again, I used to adore it so much

The return of the band, proud of Finnish music, after a long break and after verified the real health condition of Gas Lipstick, the big news will be revealed on April.
Despite all the incidents, which H.I.M. have been facing in the past year, the production of new songs for the coming album and the tour scadule planification, have been done.
MTV3 talked to Seppo Vesterinen, H.I.M.’s Manager , who revealed which is the current situation and what is been planned for the band in next months.
– “ We won’t make any comment for now, everything will depends on the evolution of the health condition of Gas Hands” – he says – “ The only thing we make sure is that next April, we will verified the real health condition of Gas and according to that we will decide the next step.
The songs have been written and worked for the record, and we hope that everything work the best way”

Choosing the layout is absolutely amazing. The RR one looks stunning. A big part of me staying off most HIM forums in the past were the awful graphics you have to put up with all over the place giving you a headache, but all versions of this new forum look clean and crisp. Good work Jay!

Im using the DS&BH layout at the monent, i love how you can change the layout for your mood

Thanks alot Jay looks great!

But the only problem i have with the layouts are the double images at the top

If i could give you a suggestion id make the right image to a heartagram or HIM logo (In the style of the album art they used) , Ill attatch a image of what i mean

Took around 15 mins but worth it to get my point across.

That looks pretty cool Shane...can you take a screen shot of what you mean by double images? It may be a resolution issue that can be scrapped easily.

Oh, and thank you everyone for the compliments on the layouts...I've been wanting to do this for some time, but wasn't happy with the old "yabb" style, which looked dated and old. I needed a cleaner base style, which I finally found.

Yea man, Ive noticed since ive left that last comment that on my android there is no double image (strange)
My pc screen is a widescreen maybe thats what the problem is.
But here is the screenshot of the double image

Its great but there are very slight problems with a few of the themes. The background is a perfect fit,nothing wrong, but the picture at the top is overlapped. So i am using the Deep shadows and brilliant highlights theme and i can see ville at the top but on the far right i can see his elbow poking in where the picture has repeated itself. This just might be my computer but i thought i might aswell mention it. Apart from that I am loving the idea!
